SmartDraw Specific Notes

Each shape is based on the standard 5 foot square. SmartDraw must be set to a metric (mm) grid to get the best fit for the shapes. Snap to grid is recommended to ease lining the drawings up. Each square is 23mm which is the closest approximation to the size of the cardboard plans I can get.

Files

SDCAVE5.EXE is a self extracting zip file (140K), containing:

Use all three to get all the symbols.

Installation

Unzip the files directly in to one of the Library sub directories, I use Library\Spacepln, but it does not matter which. Run SmartDraw and View all three of the SmartDrawing Libraries. Set the ruler to metric (mm) and the snap to grid on.

Separate Stencils

The drawings with in the libraries are complex and therefore large. This uses a lot of memory. To make them easier to modify on slower or lower memory machines than my own, close one while you use the others.

Public Domain

As long as you have a registered or trial version of SmartDraw Pro you may use these drawings for any purpose.

SmartDraw

SmartDraw Pro is Copyright Smartdraw Software Incorporated, Web: Smartdraw Home Page.

It is shareware, and a trial version can be downloaded from their site. I am all in favour of shareware which is why I have spent my time converting these shapes for this software. I have no conection with Smartdraw at all (I'm not even in the same country) If you like their product please register it, it keeps the cost of software down for us all.
